That sums it up…. we love it here.

We started coming to Breck decades ago to escape the heat of Texas summers, climb mountains (Bierstadt was my first 14er), enjoy craft beer, and soak in the mountain air. We came back to Breck year after year to conquer more mountains and spend time outdoors with our kids; summer outdoor time in Texas is limited to a 2 foot radius of the pool! A few years later we made our first winter trip and our kids learned how to ski, board, sled, have snowball fights, and loads of other winter fun. In the first day of winter we saw more snow than we had ever seen in Texas (total!). And we were hooked.

We love it here. And we know you will, too.
